Wing Shack-Cheeseburger Grill, located at 305 Sylamore Ave, Mountain View, AR, impresses with its vibrant atmosphere and tantalizing menu. Patrons rave about the fried pickles, chicken wings, and sizeable burgers, particularly the hubcap, which is big enough for a group to share. Reviewers like Josh Wise praise the value for money, claiming it outranks typical fast-food options with its generous portions and quality. The Cajun wings are a standout favorite, while the mushroom Swiss burger has garnered accolades for its perfect balance of flavor and texture.

However, not all feedback is stellar. Some patrons, like Noah Willis, found the unique outdoor seating with swings to be more style than practicality, and there are comments regarding the inconsistent quality of fries. The ordering process, which requires customers to approach the register for service, can also be a stumbling block for newcomers. Despite these minor critiques, the lively ambiance, eclectic decor featuring vintage memorabilia, and occasional live music make dining here a unique experience. For a casual meal filled with hearty options, Wing Shack-Cheeseburger Grill is undoubtedly worth a visit.

Great place! Food was excellent and priced perfectly. 100% better food and cheaper than a fast food joint. Other reviews claim this place has tourist town prices... Not sure where they get that but they definitely do not. Try eating in Branson, Destin, Gatlinburg, Memphis, etc. Chicken filet sandwich was huge. Wings were great. 6 for $10 and 10 for $15 for example. Had fried pickles and coconut cake and it was all good. Definitely recommend!

To start, the service and atmosphere of this place was excellent! There was a live musician performing on the patio during lunchtime. He was singing a lot of classics. This really made the place feel lively. The decor is super unique and eye-catching. There were a lot of vintage signs and license plates on the walls outside. I didn't spend too much time inside as it was pretty crowded, but I do recall a lot of crayon-colored dollar bills on the walls. And the chairs and tables on the patio were made of big pieces of wood and almost seemed larger than life. And then there was a standing bench that wrapped around the patio with swings hanging every couple of feet at the bench. The swings were a unique idea... but the idea was not well executed. You can't hardly swing without hitting your back or chest against the bench (I know they're meant for seating, but kids would sure appreciate being able to swing a bit). But even their use for seating doesn't work. Unless you have a super tall torso, your food is at eye-level on the bench while you're sitting on the swing. Maybe I'm expecting too much out of the swings, but I thought they were unique enough to be better implemented. Now my menu assessment is very limited and I may not have gotten their most popular item. I had a pepperjack cheeseburger and I simply was not impressed. It was kind of like Braum's quality to me; not bad, but nothing to write home about. It had a massive leaf of lettuce and a couple large tomato slices on it. I felt like I had half a salad on my burger and the veggies just seemed to get in the way more than anything. They didn't really contribute much flavor to the burger. I did have jalapeños and some kind of spicy ranch that gave the burger most of its flavor. The beef and bun was passable. The french fries were also about Braum's quality (very poor)... they had no seasoning (maybe I just got a bad batch as my sister's fries were somewhat seasoned). And I had to have plenty of ketchup to finish them. I would certainly go for a different side next time. My friends got the catfish and cherry limeades and they were raving. Another friend got the philly cheesesteak and was satisfied. So maybe I just need to go back and explore the menu a bit more. This place does have a large menu, and I do appreciate that. But if nothing else, this place is worth checking out for the atmosphere. It's quite unique!

Food is good, burgers are amazing. The wings are the best around, Cajun are my favorite and the kids love the lemon pepper. They have a HUGE burger called the hubcap. 4 people could eat off of one. Wings, chicken strips, baked potato, are all good. My ribs were a little dry and BBQ sauce taste like store bought sauce, nothing special. Their tables are sticky and the ordering process is not the most user friendly for first timers. The girls at the register are not very helpful when ordering either. There really isn’t any service there, you walk up to the register, place your order, then fill your own drinks and sit yourself. There are also no larger tables to sit a family. They have one table that sits 8 people, all the others seat 4 people. The kids meals include a drink and are reasonably priced ($5.99). The adult meal prices are on the expensive side $$$$$. The rib and wings meal, comes with 3 wings and a 1/4 rack of ribs for $20. For the price you pay here you shouldn’t have to fill your own drinks and wait your on table. Lots of covered outdoor seating, and porch swings. Great people and a great place to eat and relax.

This is a rustic place with eclectic display and furnishings. The mammoth Cheeseburger and fries were amazing . They were cooked to perfection. The wait for food was negligible at lunch time on a weekday. No issues with parking and the crowd was very pleasant.

Literally the best mushroom Swiss burger I’ve ever had. Wasn’t too small or thick, or dry. It was so so good. Fries are AMAZING

Made a stop at Wing Shack while in Mountain View—of course, I had to get some wings! They were solid. I prefer mine a little crispier and the sauce leaned away from the traditional style I usually go for, but they were still tasty, and I had no problem cleaning the plate. I added a salad to keep things balanced—because, you know, health. Price-wise, it felt a little high, but it’s a tourism town, so that’s not unexpected. The real standout here is the space itself. It’s got that old country cabin feel—rustic furniture, great vibe, and lots of character. It’s the kind of place you want to hang out in for a while. I’ll definitely be back, mostly because I want to explore more of the menu. Follow along for more local eats and travel finds on Instagram: @mikesisoutside

I will start off by saying that the selection of places to eat in this area is slim to none & flavor is even more lacking, BUT not here compared to everywhere else. While we were in town, we ate here twice. The other customers we talked to were nice & seemed like regulars, & they suggested some things to try. They also have REAL soft serve ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, & swirl - they call it twist), for those of you who love a good cone or cup after lunch/dinner on a hot summer day. If you find yourself in Mountain View, I'd suggest checking them out!
